Features:
- 3D Hooking Rim Heel. A fresh redesign of Mad Rock's patented Heel Cup for Climbing Shoes that has set their shoes apart. The 3D Hooking Rim Heel is designed to have a more predictable performance while heel hooking. A flatter shape allows you to utilize more surface area, leading tovincreased contact when engaging your heel. The rim along the bottom ridge allows you to get the power you know and love out of our performance heels. Patent pending.
- Heel Lock. EVA foam is sewn into the heel to fill in the empty gaps by the Achilles tendon and lock your heel into the shoe.
- Tension Wrap. The next evolution of Mad Rock's Adjustable Elastic Band System, the Tension Wrap gives you the benefit of a two strap system without sacrificing rubber coverage. The bottom strap is sewn into the top rubber so you can enjoy deep toe hooks alongside a super secure fit.
- Comfort Disk. Soft shoes and hard toe hooks usually equal pain. Mad Rock have added a layer of EVA foam underneath the toe hooking rubber to cushion those painful toe hooks so you can stay in control longer.
- Knuckle Bumps. Toe knuckles curling into tight performance shoes is one of the most common pain points in climbing. The Knuckle Bumps utilize Mad Rock's softest rubber, Xtreme Friction, with varying densities in order to soften the area around the knuckles. The accordion design allows the rubber to expand to any size knuckle comfortably and quickly.
- Vegan-Friendly Construction. Built entirely without animal products, combining high performance with responsible materials.
- High Volume. Offers a wider toe box, bigger heel cup, and a boxier profile compared to the LV variant
