DMM DMM Wallnut set 1-11

Wallnuts are highly featured among a climbers rack and are an invaluable piece of hardware during any trad climbing mission. Smaller sized nuts are made from a harder allow to prevent shearing while larger sizes are made from a softer alloy so they can bite into placements as needed. The larger sizes of Wallnuts feature hollow construction to cut down on weight.

Wallnuts are extremely versatile as they can be placed in two different orientations, which means one nut to cover a range of cracks. They are tapered across both their face and sides, which helps when placing them in cracks that are rarely parallel.

These nuts feature grooved faces which reduce weight, improve security in shallow placements, help the nut seat better and resist lifting out when the lead climber moves past them.

Wallnuts are colour coded to give quick and easy selection of the correct size. They are mounted on wire stiff enough for placements overhead, while flexible enough to reduce the chance of lifting out. 

Wallnuts are a great base of which to build a climbing rack from, and when complimented by more specialised pieces of protection, they are guaranteed to be the most regularly used piece of protection on your harness.
