Your old Birks made new again!
For a Birkenstock Recycle, we take your original upper (straps) and buckles and re-bond them to a genuine Birkenstock original factory-made footbed and soling rubber.
The repair process is completed with a minimum of one coat of water-based cork sealant. This sealant protects the cork, dries to a glossy clear finish and remains clear even when wet, providing excellent protection.
Our soles are bonded pneumatically using an original footbed-shaped last, ensuring a precise and durable bond.
We are an authorised Birkenstock resoler with 30 years of experience, operating from the same workshop that provides this service to Birkenstock Soul - Petersham.
- Classic vs Soft Footbed: The difference between the two is that the Soft Footbed has a thin layer of blue foam inserted between the footbed lining and the footbed itself.
- 10mm vs 7mm sole thickness: Most Birkenstocks are manufactured with a 10mm sole, however, historically models with a single strap, such as the Madrid, are made with a 7mm sole. For this reason it is only recommended to select 7mm sole thickness for single strap models like the Madrid or kid's models.
