Details
54" x 32" and 3" thick (137cm x 81cm x 7.6cm). Folds down to a lean 18" (46cm) wide with padded shoulder straps, grab handles and flaps on the side and bottom. But that's just the beginning of the details...
If there is one drawback to Taco-folding or Burrito-folding Crash Pads, it's that the firm top layer of foam develops a warp or crease after being left in the folded position. So we changed that, too: this is what we call a "reverse Burrito fold". The firm top layer of foam is on the outside of the fold, which means a consistently flat landing area, easier fold and longer foam life. We also added a combination hinge/taco fold near one end to make folding the pad easier.
Want to sling this pad over your other one for those long hikes around West mountain or day trips into RMNP? Just undo the shoulder strap from the left side and rethread it through the extra buckle near the top of the pad. Now you can carry it shoulder bag style or loop it around the top of another pad... genius! Shown in Digital Camo, colors may vary.
